Vitamine D et maladie de Parkinson
La baisse du taux de vitamine D dans le sang et la maladie de Parkinson peuvent être liées selon une nouvelle étude.
Une nouvelle étude concernant des patients chez qui on a diagnostiqué récemment la maladie de parkinson trouve une correspondance élevée de baisse du taux de vitamine D chez ces mêmes patients ; mais le taux de vitamine D ne continue pas de diminuer avec la progression de la maladie.
Cette étude est l’une des études les plus sérieuses qui étudie la relation qui existe entre le taux de vitamine D et la maladie de parkinson.
Sachant qu’une ancienne étude en Finlande avait déjà constaté que chez les malades atteints de maladie de parkinson on retrouve beaucoup plus un taux bas de Vitamine D, dans la nouvelle étude, plus de 70% des patients avec un diagnostic récent de Parkinson avaitent un taux bas de vitamine D dans le sang.
« Plus de recherches sont nécessaires pour trouver la relation réelle entre le taux de vitamine D et l’apparition de maladie de Parkinson » déclare Dr Marian L Evatt, médecin dans le Emory University School of Medicine and the Atlanta Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
