ABX-464, le nouvel anti-VIH d’Abivax en phase IIa
Abivax, la société biopharmaceutique française entame la phase IIa de l’étude clinique pour son produit contre le VIH : Le ABX-464.
Cette nouvelle molécule permet d’inhiber la réplication du virus par un nouveau mécanisme ; Dans son communiqué, Abivax déclare que ce nouveau médicament permet d’abaisser la charge virale pendant plusieurs semaines après l’arrêt du traitement.
La phase IIa dite « étude en double aveugle » se déroule actuellement à l’ile Maurice sur des patients atteints du virus du VIH, elle concernera 80 patients et permettra d’évaluer la sécurité et l’efficacité du traitement.
